About Jennifer K. Dansicker

With more than 35 years of experience as a writer and 15 years dedicated to nonprofit fundraising, I have built my career around helping mission-driven organizations secure the resources they need to create lasting change. Over the years, I have partnered with more than 30 small to mid-size nonprofits across the country, helping them collectively raise more than $500,000,000 in funding.

I founded my consulting practice because I saw a need. Many exceptional nonprofit organizations have passionate leaders, innovative programs, and measurable impact, but they often lack the resources to hire a full-time grant writer or fundraising professional. I believe every organization deserves access to experienced fundraising expertise, regardless of its size or budget.

As an extension of your team, I work collaboratively with executive leadership, program staff, finance teams, and frontline fundraisers to build a strategic fundraising program that supports your mission and long-term goals. From developing fundraising strategies and researching qualified funding opportunities across the corporate, foundation, individual, state, and federal sectors to writing compelling grants, letters of inquiry, and proposals, I help organizations position themselves for sustainable growth.

My work is grounded in collaboration because the strongest proposals are built on authentic stories, meaningful data, and shared vision. When leadership, program, finance, and development teams work together, the results speak for themselves. I am proud to maintain an 85% funding success rate when supported by engaged internal teams.

Beyond grant writing, I help organizations strengthen their overall fundraising infrastructure by creating strategic collateral, supporting prospect research, improving grant administration, and developing systems that track opportunities, reporting requirements, and long-term funder relationships.

At the heart of everything I do is a deep commitment to causes that improve lives and strengthen communities. There is nothing more rewarding than helping nonprofit organizations connect with funders who believe in their mission as deeply as they do.

Based in Baltimore, I currently partner with nonprofit organizations throughout Maryland, New York, and Virginia, while serving clients across the country. 

Outside of work, I am the proud parent of three adult children who are out in the world living their best lives. They remind me every day that meaningful work creates ripple effects that extend far beyond ourselves, and that is exactly why I love helping nonprofits turn their vision into impact.
